When and Where
Our GCSE Science Revision Course in Dulwich takes place across four consecutive days during the Easter holidays: Tuesday 7th to Friday 10th April 2026.
Each day runs from 9:30am to 3:30pm, giving students a structured, immersive experience without the fatigue that can come from longer sessions. We’ve found this timing works well, it mirrors a school day, helping students stay focused while leaving evenings free for rest.

The course is held at Harris Boys Academy in East Dulwich, a modern, well-equipped venue that’s easily accessible from across South London. Whether you’re travelling from Dulwich itself, Peckham, Forest Hill, Herne Hill, or further afield, the location offers good transport links and on-site facilities.
For parents who prefer to drop off and collect, there’s convenient access nearby. We’re always happy to share more specific directions if helpful, just get in touch.
Who’s Teaching
One of the things that sets this GCSE Science Revision Course in South London apart is the team behind it.
Your child will be taught by three specialist teachers, each leading sessions in their own subject:
- Kate – Physics specialist
- Chloe – Chemistry specialist
- Ruth – Biology specialist
Between us, we bring over 40 years of combined teaching experience, including backgrounds at Alleyn’s School and other leading independent and state schools. We’ve taught thousands of students through their GCSEs and understand exactly what’s required to succeed.
Rather than asking one teacher to cover all three sciences (which, frankly, rarely works well), we rotate throughout the course so that every session is led by someone who lives and breathes that subject. This means your child benefits from genuine depth of knowledge, current exam board insight, and teaching approaches that have been refined over many years in the classroom.
We’ve seen how much difference this makes. Students respond differently when they’re learning from someone who clearly loves their subject, and who knows exactly which topics tend to trip students up.
What the Course Covers
Over the four days, we work through Biology, Chemistry, and Physics in a carefully structured programme. Our focus is threefold:
- Consolidating understanding – We revisit the core content, filling in gaps and strengthening foundations.
- Applying knowledge – We work through real exam-style problems together, helping students see how to use what they know.
- Mastering exam technique – We teach students exactly what examiners are looking for, how to structure answers, and how to pick up marks they might otherwise lose.

This isn’t about cramming facts. It’s about helping students genuinely understand the material and feel confident applying it under exam conditions.
We support students taking Triple Science (separate Biology, Chemistry, and Physics GCSEs) as well as those on the Combined Science route. Our teaching is tailored to the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications, so whatever exam board your child’s school uses, they’ll find the content directly relevant.
Who This Course Is For
This course is designed for Year 11 students preparing for their summer GCSE exams. It’s particularly well-suited to students who:
- Feel overwhelmed by the volume of content and aren’t sure where to focus
- Understand the material in class but struggle to perform under exam conditions
- Would benefit from structured, expert-led revision rather than trying to go it alone
- Want to build confidence before the final push
We keep our groups small deliberately. This allows us to give each student individual attention, answer their specific questions, and adapt our explanations where needed. It also creates a calm, supportive atmosphere, something that matters a great deal when students are already feeling exam pressure.
If your child is motivated to improve and willing to engage, this course will give them the structure, clarity, and confidence they need.
Pricing and How to Book
We’ve tried to make the booking process as straightforward as possible.
To secure your child’s place, a deposit of £200 is required. This confirms their spot on the course and allows us to plan appropriately for group sizes and materials.
The remaining balance is due by 24th February 2026. This gives you time to confirm the booking without needing to pay everything upfront immediately.
To register, simply visit our courses page and complete the booking form. You’ll be asked to provide some basic information about your child, including any relevant medical details or learning needs (such as SEND requirements) so we can ensure appropriate support is in place.
Once you’ve submitted the form, you’ll be redirected to a secure payment link to complete the deposit.
If you have any questions before booking, we’re always happy to chat. You can reach us through the contact form on our website or email us directly.

Questions Parents Often Ask
Can my child attend if they’re taking Combined Science rather than Triple?
Absolutely. We cover all three sciences and tailor our teaching to both Combined and Triple Science students. The core content overlaps significantly, and we’re experienced at supporting students on either pathway.
What should my child bring?
A notebook, pens, and their current revision materials (if they have any). We provide structured course notes and resources, but having their own materials to hand can be helpful for cross-referencing.
Will they need to bring lunch?
Yes, please send your child with a packed lunch and any snacks they’d like. There are no facilities to purchase food on-site, but we do have breaks built into the day.
What if my child has additional learning needs?
Please let us know when you book. We’re experienced at supporting students with a range of needs and want to ensure everyone gets the most from the course. The more information you can share, the better we can prepare.
Is this course suitable for students who are already doing well?
Yes. Even confident students benefit from structured revision, particularly around exam technique. We often see high-achieving students gain the clarity they need to move from good grades to excellent ones.
